The Hana Žižlavská –RSZ company was established in 1994 as an association of people whose original intention was to take part in the privatization of Narex Bučovice, Inc. and also to start other business activities. After the unsuccessful privatization attempt the company fully developed its own business activities and till 1996 RSZ was exclusively dealing in tools and devices for machinery and tool steel which is used for the production of tools and forms.

After 1996 the RSZ company specialized in machinig, purchasing and selling of tool steel. These activities were taken over by the daughter company JKZ,Ltd. which was also responsible for the production of clamping devices. Another very important product which this company offered to its customers was high quality coolant that is used when tool steel as well as other steels are machined .

17.1.2000 the JKZ Bučovice ,Inc. was established and its authorized capital was 21 480 000 ,- CZK and this company took over all the business activities of the above mentioned firms and since that time it has been improving and extending the sphere of competence.

Another very important and strategic step was taken by JKZ Bučovice,Inc. in 2001 by increasing of capital to 44 000 000,- CZK. At the same time the construction of storage and production hall began with the aim to improve our services in the sphere of logistics. In the same year our company started the preparations for ISO 9001 certification.

The construction of the storage and production hall was finished in 2002 and during the same year we did our best to achieve ISO 9001:2000 certificate. We also succeeded in cooperation with Česká spořitelna,a.s. and thanks to this the financing of our activities was ensured. The completion of the storage and production hall helped create new jobs and we could implement our financial plans which also increased our company´s technological possibilities.

The certification of JKZ Bučovice,Inc.was finished in 2003 and the company is proud to hold ISO 9001:2000 certificate. During the same year a lot of money was invested in new machines, the number of employees also increased and the offer of tool steel , structurals , graphite and copper could extend . A subsidiary - JKZ Slovakia ,Ltd. was established in Trenčín 28th July 2003.
