The steel is developed for the purpose of more qualitative classical qualities of steels – W.Nr. 1.2378, 12311 and 1.2312. Due to the highly clear structure it reaches excellent workability (of about 15% better than by 1.2738), polishability, corrodibility and it increases the quality of surface and mechanical properties of produced injection and pressing parts. Higher heat conductivity SP300® (P) increases the productivity of the tool. Easy weldability and easier repairs and alterations of the mold design.
Heat-treated steel to the firmness from 290 to 320 HB is used for big molds for plastics injection and big frames of molds.
