Characteristics

The steel is developed for the purpose of more qualitative substitution of classical qualities 1.2738 TS-HH. Due to the highly clear structure it guarantees excellent workability (of about 15% better than by 1.2738 TS-HH), polishability, corrodibility and increases the quality of surface and properties of produced injection or pressing parts. Higher heat conductivity SP350® increases the productivity of the tool.

Suitability

Heat-treated steel to the firmness from 320 to 350 HB is used for big molds for plastics injection and big frames of molds.
