Characteristics
Ocel C60 is a non-alloy structural carbon steel. Compared to other unalloyed steels, it is characterized by higher wear resistance and high hardness. Due to its higher carbor content, it has limited weldability.
Suitability
Highly stressed machine components in mechanical engineering and the automotive industry with higher cleanliness requirements. For example shafts, gears, pinions, and axles. Also suitable for pins, bolts and nuts, dowels, sleeves, and other components.
