Characteristics
Chrome-molybdenum steel for hardening in oil with very good hardenability and good firmness during the heat. The steel has the increased resistance to the corrosion regarding an increased content of chrome. The steel has the excellent resistance to the wear, good workability and polishability, for the usage it is delivered in the heat-treated state.
Suitability
Molds for pressing of chemically-aggressive plastic substances etc.

| Soft annealing | 760-800 | Warm few hours (according to the size of object), mostly four hours are enough and cool slowly in the furnace | |
| Hardening | 1020-1050 | Cool in oil or hot bath which has the temperature of 500-600°C, the degree of tempering is set by hardness and toughness of instrument according to the tempering chart | |
