W. NR. 1.4122
CZK 0
Characteristics
Martensitic steel with high wear resistance and good corrosion resistance in environments with low chloride content. Optimal corrosion resistance can be achieved with a polished surface. It is supplied in the quenched and tempered condition with a hardness of 280–325 HB. The steel has limited weldability.
Suitability
Components requiring high wear and corrosion resistance in chloride-free environments. Typical applications include mechanical engineering, the manufacture of valves and fittings, cutting tools and plastics processing equipment.
